The F-35 Lightning II is a single-engine, single-pilot multirole combat aircraft designed to perform multiple tasks: air-to-ground strike, air-to-air combat, reconnaissance, and intelligence gathering. It is produced by the American company Lockheed Martin. The aircraft is classified as a "fifth-generation" fighter, meaning it combines reduced radar signature design, integrated avionics that fuse data from multiple sensors, and the ability to share information with other aircraft and ground forces.
